# About Inventory+

Inventory+ is an online system for tracking and managing equipment and inventory within an organization.

The core entities are [Equipment](/en/about/equipment), [Inventory](/en/about/inventory), [Employees](/en/about/employees), and [Workspaces](/en/about/workspaces). These are the primary objects of accounting; other records and operations are built around them.

The system also contains supporting entities such as transfer documents, issue logs, and other operational records.

In Inventory+, each individual piece of equipment can be assigned either to a specific employee or to a workspace.


This documentation is built and hosted on [Mintlify](https://mintlify.com), a developer documentation platform.
