# Find by QR code

Employees can quickly find equipment, an inventory type, or another marked entity by its QR code.

## Using the phone camera

Open the smartphone camera and point it at the QR code. Open the link shown by the phone.

If you are already signed in to Inventory+, the corresponding entity opens immediately. Otherwise, sign in first. Inventory+ then continues using the QR code you already scanned. **You do not need to scan it again.**

## Through My Equipment

On the home page, select **Identification**. The camera opens for QR scanning. If needed, switch to manual code entry.
