# Employee access management

## Grant access

<Steps><Step title="Open the employee">Go to **Employees → All employees** and open the employee.</Step><Step title="Open access management">Click **Access management**.</Step><Step title="Create a password">Click **Create password**. Inventory+ generates the employee's login password.</Step><Step title="Provide the credentials">Give the employee their login and generated password.</Step></Steps>

> **Important:** every time **Create password** is used, a new password is generated and the previous password stops working immediately.

## Block access

Open **Access management** and click **Block**. The employee can no longer sign in and the profile shows that access is blocked.

To restore access, click **Unblock**.
