Adding inventory increases the recorded quantity of an existing inventory variant. Inventory in Inventory+ follows the hierarchy: Category → Type → Variant → Quantity A quantity is always added to a specific predefined variant; arbitrary unidentified stock is not created.

Adding from the Inventory page

Select the required category, type and variant, then add the quantity. The operation creates the corresponding inventory movement and increases the available balance.

Adding from an employee record

Inventory can also be added directly from an employee page. In this case the employee is already known, so the user starts by selecting the inventory: Category → Type → Variant → Quantity Click Add inventory in the employee record, select the category, type and variant, and enter the quantity. The selected item is added to the transfer draft. Additional items can be included before the transfer is completed and confirmed.
Regardless of where the operation starts, the result follows the same accounting model: a quantity of a specific existing variant is transferred to a specific recipient, preserving a traceable history.
